Where it says it works
Bi-state Shenandoah Valley region. The About page says "Founded in 1924, SVTA is one of the oldest regional tourism promotional organizations of its kind in the United States," serving a "breathtakingly beautiful 200-mile region" that stretches from Harpers Ferry in West Virginia's eastern panhandle to the Roanoke area of Virginia. Members include destinations, attractions, lodging, restaurants, resorts, tourism offices and government entities across that multi-state territory.
Verification note
BI-STATE ORGANIZATION (Virginia and West Virginia) - flag for editors. The site publishes no email address at all; the state's svta@mysvta.org could not be confirmed and is left blank. No staff are named, so Helen Morton / Administrator is not carried over. The only published number is the vanity line 1-800-VISIT-SV, which dials to the (800) 847-4878 the state listed. COVERAGE CONFLICT: the organization describes its own southern boundary as "the Roanoke area," which reaches further south than the state's locality list (which stops at Bedford and Nelson counties); it also does not enumerate localities, so the state's 28-locality list is the state's construction, not the organization's claim.

Verification note
Brian McKee and his title are confirmed on the town's own department page; Melody Nixon (Engagement Specialist) is also listed. Phone matches. NO EMAIL PUBLISHED - the town routes staff contact through a web form, and the state's bmckee@strasburgva.com does not appear on the site. Strasburg is simultaneously claimed by Visit Shenandoah County (DMO-113) and by SVTA (DMO-114). Virginia confirmed - Strasburg VA, not Strasburg, PA or Strasburg, OH. The site returns 403 to non-browser clients.
