Virginia breweries fought for self-distribution. This is what they got.
The hybrid self-distribution program grew sharply in fiscal 2026, reaching 42 licensed brewery locations and 295 registered retailers. But all participating breweries combined moved just 550 barrels, and the structure that made the program possible also limits who can use it.
