EMAIL DOMAIN CAUTION: every staff address published on the site is now @myswva.org (e.g. rvaughan@myswva.org, cfox@myswva.org); no address is published for Kim Davis, and the state's kdavis@friendsofswva.org appears on no page. Where it says it works
Wythe County, VA. The county's tourism page says: "Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Southwest Virginia, Wythe County blends natural beauty, rich history, and small-town hospitality. The county's convenient location at the crossroads of Interstates 77 and 81 makes it easy to reach." It is marketed as "the Crossroads of Southwest Virginia." County offices at 290 South 6th Street, Wytheville, VA 24382.
Verification note
TITLE CHANGED: Allyson Williams is now "Public Information Officer and Grants Coordinator," not simply "Public Information Officer." EMAIL CHANGED: the county's own directory links "Email Allyson Williams" to the role address wythepio@wytheco.org, not the state's atwilliams@wytheco.org. The general number published on the tourism page is county administration, 276-223-4500; the state's (276) 223-4522 is her direct extension and is still correct as a direct line. Virginia confirmed - Wythe County VA. Note the separate Wytheville CVB (DMO-136) covers the town.
