The state directory lists it as “Petersburg Area Regional Tourism”.
- info@bestpartva.org
- Website
- bestpartva.org
Where it says it works
Colonial Heights, Dinwiddie, Hopewell, Petersburg and Prince George - 'PART' is the acronym for these five localities
Verification note
REBRAND AND DOMAIN CHANGE: petersburgarea.org over plain http now redirects to https://bestpartva.org/; over https it serves the same 'Best Part of Virginia' site. The organization presents itself as The Best Part of Virginia / Best PART of Virginia - Petersburg Area Tourism. NO PHONE is published anywhere on the site - the file's (804) 861-1666 could not be confirmed, so the field is blank. EMAIL DIFFERS: the site publishes info@bestpartva.org (Cloudflare-obfuscated in the markup); the file's mburton@craterpdc.org does not appear. NO STAFF are named, so Martha Burton is not carried over. Coverage matches the file exactly. COVERAGE CONFLICT: Richmond Region Tourism (DMO-106) also claims Colonial Heights.

Petersburg, Virginia
Verification note
Joanne Williams, her full title and her direct line 804-347-3321 are all still current in the city's staff directory, as is jwilliams@petersburg-va.org. PHONE FIELD USES THE GENERAL CITY LINE 804-733-2300 per the general-over-direct rule; the file's number is her direct line. NO DEDICATED TOURISM OFFICE PAGE and no visitor-center address or hours are published on the city site - only a generic 'Visitors' landing page - so this is a communications post that includes tourism rather than a staffed visitor operation. Regional visitor promotion for Petersburg is handled by The Best Part of Virginia (DMO-098). City Hall 135 N Union Street, Petersburg, VA 23803. Both http and https resolve.
