Where it says it works
Grayson County, VA — 'home to the highest peaks in Virginia, as well as the second oldest river in the world', with the Grayson County Visitor Center in Independence
Verification note
EMAIL DIFFERS: the tourism site's 'Email Us' link (Cloudflare-obfuscated, decoded) is the general address visit@graysoncountyva.gov; the state listed the director's personal tcornett@graysoncountyva.gov, which is also confirmed in the county staff directory. TITLE CHANGED: the county directory lists Tracy Cornett as 'Director' in the Tourism department (the state had 'Tourism Economic Dev. Director'); a Tourism Support Specialist, Christian Cooke, is also listed. Phone 276-773-8002 confirmed. Note the county government site is the separate graysoncountyva.gov. COVERAGE CONFLICT: Visit Galax (DMO-051) claims to serve 'Galax and the Twin Counties', which takes in Grayson County. NAME COLLISION NOTE: Grayson County, Virginia — not Grayson County, Kentucky or Texas.
