Verification note
DEAD DOMAIN: essexeda.org — the domain of the state's listed email director@essexeda.org — no longer resolves in DNS at all, so that address cannot be relied on. The EDA now lives on the county site, essexva.gov (http and the bare host redirect to https://www.essexva.gov). PHONE DIFFERS: the county staff directory publishes (804) 508-7860 for Woodie Walker; the state's (804) 443-4331 does not appear. Woodie Walker is still Director. No public email is published — the county uses a CivicPlus 'Email Woodie Walker' web form — so email left blank. Mailing address P.O. Box 1079 / 202 S Church Lane, Tappahannock, VA 22560. The county's own EDA minutes reference an 'Explore Essex' marketing effort funded by a Virginia Tourism grant, but no separate tourism office or site is published.
